Careful, there might be a joke in here

When I was little and The Money Pit finally aired on broadcast TV I never understood the plot. Now that I've purchased a 102 year old house without a home inspection David Giler looks like an insightful genius.

We've been informed by our insurance company that we need to have the shingles on our garage replaced or they won't honor our policy. Other difficulties include previously unidentified water damage, foxhole sized divots in our backyard courtesy of Lucy and Thena, and muddy paw prints on every white surface on the entire property (courtesy of spider-pig).

Still, things are actually shaping up around the house I'm pursuing a new aesthetic that I like to call "sparse baroque" but in reality should probably be called barren.
